Development Coordinator and Donor Liaison

Aspen Center for Physics is seeking a Development Coordinator and Donor Liaison who will be responsible for supporting all aspects of fundraising operations and donor engagement. This includes database management, gift processing and acknowledgment, donor communications, campaign coordination, and event logistics. The ideal candidate brings a mix of administrative precision, excellent communication skills, and a passion for relationship building. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with leadership and scientific advisors in a high-impact, intellectually stimulating nonprofit environment.

“For me a key thing about the Center is that it is run so efficiently that I can spend my time doing physics.  The accommodations are all booked for me, the offices are all arranged, the workshops and talks run smoothly; there are even bikes available that give me an enjoyable and healthy way to commute.”

– Lawrence Hall

GOVERNANCE

The Aspen Center for Physics is operated for scientists by scientists with only a very small administrative staff. It operates with a staff expense of less than 15% of its budget because of the incredible effort put in by its volunteer Members, Trustees, and Officers who donate hundreds of hours each year to keep the science at the Center at the forefront of physics.
