Marisa Walbert

Marisa Walbert is an experienced operations and communications manager with a strong commitment to fostering collaboration and community engagement. A Northwest Florida native, Marisa studied music with a focus on opera during college and furthered her craft through studies and performances across Europe. After returning to the U.S., she applied her passion for the arts to leadership roles, running theater programs in Boulder and Denver, Colorado.

Marisa later transitioned to the education technology sector, where she played a key role in scaling a startup into Colorado’s largest STEM provider, expanding programming across North and South America and impacting thousands of students and educators.

In her current role as Office and Communications Manager at the Aspen Center for Physics, Marisa supports the Center’s mission to advance scientific discovery and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. She is responsible for managing office operations, streamlining internal and external communications, and coordinating events and initiatives that unite physicists, researchers, and the broader scientific community.

Residing in the Roaring Fork Valley with her family, Marisa shares a love for the Colorado mountains with her husband, an Aspen native. Together, they are raising their son in a community that values creativity, collaboration, and the pursuit of knowledge.
