The Meadows button and Roommate buttons are specific to each conference, so there will need to be a page like this for each conference. Also, either it should use the “available” or “sold out” depending on if there are still rooms left.

Your conference will be partially lodged at the Aspen Meadows Resort, a 5-minute walk to the Aspen Center for Physics. We have a very limited room block with a 5-night minimum for reservations, and our guaranteed rate expires once the block is filled or 30 days before your conference begins. Book your room and make your travel plans early to get the best rates.

The Aspen Meadows Resort will be renovating their hotel rooms one building at a time this winter. Guests staying at the hotel will be placed in buildings that are not undergoing renovation. Construction will occur daily between 9 am – 5 pm to unoccupied guest room buildings. Due to the renovation, we have a very limited number of rooms in our group block this year.

If you would like your own room, please go to the Aspen Meadows link below. Your room rate is $311 per night, plus tax. The rate includes airport and physics shuttle service, breakfast, and health club amenities.

Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your stay at the time your reservation is made. Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival incurs a $35 fee with a full refund. There is no refund for cancellation of any room nights if cancelled within 30 days prior to beginning of stay.

If you want to share a room with another participant, which we encourage, your room rate is $178 per night, per person, plus tax. The rate includes airport and physics shuttle service, two breakfasts per day, and health club amenities.

Once you have contacted and secured a roommate, one of you can make a reservation at the Aspen Meadows link, above. If you are unable to provide your roommate’s credit card for their half of payment at the time of reservation, please have your roommate call Miranda Ylinen directly at 970-544-7847 with their credit card within 48 hours to avoid paying 100% of the deposit. The Inn at Aspen is located 2.4 miles away from the Center on Hwy 82 near the Aspen Airport. Rates are generally cheaper at the Inn at Aspen than in the downtown core. The Inn at Aspen is offering a 5% discount on stays of 2-6 nights and a 10% discount on stays of 7 nights or longer. To make a reservation, call 1-970-544-3327 to reach the reservations team and identify yourself as a guest of the Aspen Center for Physics group when calling to ensure you receive the discounted rates. The Annabelle Inn is located 0.6 miles away from the Center on Main St. The Annabelle Inn is offering a 10% discount if you contact them directly at 877-266-2466 and say that you are with the Aspen Center for Physics. Please refer to the hotel’s cancellation policy.

Destination Snowmass manages many condominiums throughout Snowmass; including the Stonebridge Inn hotel, studio apartments, and one to four-bedroom condominiums. You may browse their available options at https://www.destinationhotels.com/destination-residences-snowmass. There are free buses between Aspen and Snowmass that run regularly throughout the day and evening. The closest bus stop to our campus from Snowmass is a couple of blocks away at 8th St and Main St. For reservations, call 844-330-1859 and ask for the “Aspen Center for Physics 2023 Space Available Rate” for a 15% discount. The reservations office is open Monday – Friday from 8a – 6p MT, and Saturday/Sunday from 9a – 5p MT.
