Rick Scanlon

Rick Scanlon is a venture capitalist and an entrepreneur. He is a founding partner of Innovation Endeavors and he has led investments in, helped to build, and been a board member of numerous celebrated and disruptive companies in the United States, Israel, and Asia. He spent 16 years of his professional life in Singapore.

Rick’s primary focus is software and as a data scientist he applies data driven methodologies to assessing and leading investments in the sector. He is currently the Executive Chairperson of TuneIn, the world’s largest platform for live audio and online radio, and he has led investments in several noteworthy technology companies including Taboola.com (NYSE: TBLA), AlphaSense, Team8, Anyword, Yext, Overwolf, Claroty, Datorama, Dynamic Yield, and Vertical Knowledge.

Rick earned a bachelor’s degree (honors) in 1993 from Middlebury College where he majored in Art (Architecture) and Physics. Further, he has been on Middlebury’s Board of Trustees since 2013 and currently serves as the Chair of Middlebury’s Schools Abroad and Language Schools. Rick and his wife Alicia have three daughters and live in Locust Valley, NY.
