Larry Marx

Larry Marx graduated from Stanford University in 1968 and then became Partner and Member of the Executive Committee of Neuberger Berman, 1968-2000. Together with his wife, Susan Marx, they began collecting art in the 1960s and have been Board Members and Trustees of the Aspen Art Museum, Aspen Community Foundation, Dana Farber Cancer Inst and Planned Parenthood of Westchester NY. They are currently Board Members of the Hammer Museum. Marx has been on the Board of the Aspen Center for Physics since the early 90s. One of Larry’s most enjoyable experiences since coming to Aspen was working with David Schramm in our efforts to get the building of Smart Hall done.
