Csaba Csaki
Trustee
Csaba Csaki is a particle theorist, working mainly on physics beyond the standard model. He got his bachelor’s degree at Eotvos University in Budapest, Hungary in 1993 and his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the supervision of Lisa Randall in 1997. Subsequently he was a Miller Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley 1997-99, and J. Robert Oppenheimer Fellow at Los Alamos 1999-2001. He moved to Cornell in 2002, where he is now a professor of physics. He was a Department of Energy (DOE) Outstanding Junior Investigator, elected a fellow of the American Physical Society, and awarded a Humboldt research prize in Germany. He is a Trustee and General Member of the Aspen Center for Physics. He was one of the co-conveners of the Theory Frontier for Snowmass 2021, and was awarded a Simons Fellowship in 2022.
