If you need a meeting space for your scientific, non-profit group, consider the Aspen Center for Physics. It is available when its summer and winter programs are not in session: mid- September through December, occasional winter weeks and April through the first three weeks of May.
In the autumn, Aspen is aglow with fall colors, warm, sunny days and cool nights. It’s the locals’ favorite season. Accommodation rates begin to decline and continue to fall in late October and November. Then the town is quieter but offers great food and entertainment with many off-season specials. It’s a time to join local gatherings or plan special events after a day of meetings.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, accommodation are lower than at other times during the year. Depending on the snow, there may be plentiful powder days. Free Nordic ski trails abound.
From late February through March, Aspen is a wonderland of winter sports. Prices fall as the ski season winds down in April and are at their lowest after the lifts close.
Our small, professional staff is here to assist with planning your time in Aspen. As long–time local residents, we can recommend excellent hotels and restaurants. We can also suggest unique group activities that will guarantee an exceptional meeting. We can put you in contact with the Aspen Meadows, our closest hotel, to determine accommodation prices, or you may explore other Aspen hotel possibilities.
If you are interested in holding an Aspen meeting, please contact the Center for more information.
