“If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?” – Albert Einstein

Physicists Present: Colloquia at the Aspen Center for Physics

These talks are for physicists and the knowledgeable non-physicist. Here we provide a brief synopsis of the colloquia and, if available, the slides shown.

These slides will give you an idea of presentations made by someone in one field, geared to inform physicists in other fields about current research. The Aspen Center for Physics hosts scientists in Astrophysics, Biophysics, Hard and Soft Condensed Matter Physics, High Energy Particle Physics and a few related fields and subfields like Cosmology, Gravitational Waves, Nonlinear Dynamics, Mathematical Physics, and String Theory.

Click on the year links to the left to find lists of colloquia held that year at the Center and slides outlining the talks.
