Aspen Center for Physics

“I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge.” –Albert Einstein

You should make every effort to seek participation by under-represented groups that include physicists who are active in the field. The Aspen Center for Physics is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment, ensuring non-discrimination based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, alienage, age, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, marital status, political affiliation or political philosophy, disability, institution size or veteran's status. The Center views this as an active and ongoing responsibility for all conference organizers. Click the Diversity link on the left for the Diversity Committee's suggestions for recruiting under–represented physicists. This is also a good opportunity for graduate students to visit since they are rarely admitted in the summer.

We send our winter posters to everyone in our database for whom we have an email address, over 10,000 physicists. We trust that you will encourage those candidates who will best contribute to your conference to apply. We use an application process rather than a registration process because we limit admissions to about 100 physicists and some conferences are highly over-subscribed.
